Gypsum coats and plasters

Laying gypsum plaster on the internal wall provides the effect of a smooth and even surface. If you want easy and quick application, applying the plaster itself will be a reasonable choice. You only need to put it on once to get even walls. However, you need to be prepared for the fact that the surfaces will not be perfectly smooth – sunlight or artificial lighting falling on the walls may emphasize any unevenness. The roughness of walls covered with gypsum plaster may also contribute to a greater consumption of paint during painting. If you want the wall to be perfectly smooth, a good choice may be to put gypsum plaster on the plaster. However, you must remember that the plaster should not be applied on rough surfaces with large cavities – its thickness is about 2-3 mm, therefore it does not provide adequate coverage. Gypsum plaster should always be applied to even surfaces.
